Crime Suppression Division police in Kanchanaburi detained Apirak Thaworncharoensuk, 42, at a rented room in tambon Tha Kradan of Si Sawat district on Thursday. A Thai man of Karen origin, Mr Apirak was wanted under arrest warrants issued by courts in Nonthaburi and Ayutthaya provinces in December and April on charges of fraud and computer crime. After receiving money, the suspect failed to deliver any crayfish, repeatedly saying that imports had not arrived, and other excuses. He never delivered a single crayfish and his investors were down 25 million baht with nothing to show for it, Pol Col Thongchai said.
